Issue of Equity- Warrant Exercise Option issue

GUERNSEY, United Kingdom, Sept. 7, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Mariana Resources Ltd (“Mariana” or the “Company”), the AIM and TSXV listed exploration and development company with projects in Turkey and South America, announces that 384,614 warrants, relating to the May 2016 Private placement, exercisable into ordinary shares at the consolidated figure of 25p each have been exercised and funds have been received.

The Company will issue and allot 384,614 new ordinary shares.

Admission to AIM

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings are expected to commence on or about 13 September 2016 (“Admission”).

Following Admission, there will be a total of 120,366,441 ordinary shares on issue.

Issue of Options

The Board has approved the issue of 470,000 incentive options to employees, vesting over a five year period. All options to employees are issued under the conditions of the Employee Share Option Plan. The new options issued are at an exercise price of 54.5p and expire on 29 August 2021.
