NTN Buzztime Inc (NYSEMKT: NTN) and Fandango have come together for a unique and interactive promotion that will see some participants walk away with free movie tickets. The promotion will run between May 2 and June 20, 2016 and it is designed to drive repeat visitors to Buzztime’s hospitality brand partners.
NTN Buzztime Inc (NYSEMKT: NTN) specializes in advertising and entertainment solutions targeting bars and restaurant businesses while Fandango is a leading digital platform for movie fans.
What about the promotion?
To enter the contest for a pair of free movie tickets to be given away, you have to play a special Fandango movie trivia game at least two times during the life of the promotion. The trivia game can be played in any of Buzztime-equipped venues during the month-long promotion that will run between May 2 and June 20. The game will be available on Mondays during the promotion period from 5.00 pm to 5:30 pm PST. The game promotions will be featured on Buzztime digital outdoor screens and tablets.
What do you need to qualify for the tickets?
NTN Buzztime Inc (NYSEMKT: NTN) says only participation in the game is necessary to qualify for a pair of movie tickets. That means that qualification for a pair of tickets doesn’t hinge on a player winning a game or reaching a preset to score.
Everyone is a winner
According to Buzztime’s VP of Enterprise enablement, Erik Evans, the promotion is designed to be a win-win situation for everyone involved. For example, the players will fetch their rewards in the form of movie tickets for playing the game. On its part, Fandango will benefit from massive brand exposure. As for Buzztime, it will generate massive traffic to its brand partners and generate fresh interest in its solutions.
Who’s doing what?
All of the technical and the back-end support during the promotion will be handled by NTN Buzztime Inc (NYSEMKT: NTN) on behalf of its brand venue partners. Buzztime works with brands such as Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. (NYSE :DPS), Sony Corp (ADR) (NYSE: SNE)’s Sony Pictures and Lyft.
NTN Buzztime Inc (NYSEMKT: NTN) is slated to report its 1Q2016 results on May 6 after which there will be a call hosted by the company’s executives.
